ENGLISH FOR SPEAKERS OF OTHER LANGUAGES
(ESOL)
The Center offers five levels of English classes,
from Basic Survival English to Advanced Reading and Writing classes.
Evening and daytime classes are offered with free on-site
childcare.
All five levels cover life skills, grammar,
Lindamood-Bell reading, and basic computer skills. The life skills
section includes employment, community services, consumer economics,
health, housing, transportation, and directions for the non-native
speaker.
The ESOL classes offer a unique social network
experience through interaction in the classroom with students from all
parts of the world. We currently serve students from 5 continents
and 19 countries.
New students are accepted every six weeks throughout
the year. There is a $20 registration fee to cover the cost of
materials. For upcoming registration dates, please contact the
Center.
